GLOBAL: Sovereign fund Abu Dhabi Investment Authority will retain its 10% stake in Sempra Infrastructure Partners – one of North America’s leading energy infrastructure platforms – following a deal with global investment firm KKR and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments). Sempra will retain a 25% interest after selling a 45% stake for US$10 billion to the KKR consortium – the latter ending up with a majority 65% stake in the energy platform.
