GLOBAL: Shariah compliant alternative investment firm Arcapita Group and US-based Parkway Venture Capital saw AI portfolio company, Figure AI, securing over US$1 billion in capital commitments as part of its Series C financing round, reaching a valuation of US$39 billion. The round included a significant strategic investment from Brookfield Asset Management joining technology investors like NVIDIA, Salesforce, LG Technology Ventures, Intel Capital, T-Mobile Ventures and Macquarie Capital.
