SAUDI ARABIA: The Capital Market Authority (CMA) of Saudi Arabia approved the public offer of the Ashmore Saudi Sharia Equity Fund. Offered by Ashmore Investment Saudi Arabia, this new fund is expected to be the Shariah compliant version of its existing Ashmore Saudi Equity Fund benchmarked to Standard & Poor’s Saudi Arabia Domestic total return index.
