INDONESIA: Avrist Asset Management has launched the Avrist Sukuk Berkah 9 Shariah mutual fund in partnership with Bank Muamalat Indonesia, expanding Indonesia’s Islamic investment offerings for conservative to moderate investors. The protected Shariah fund invests primarily in corporate Sukuk and offers an indicative return of 6% net per annum over a three-year tenor, with Bank Muamalat appointed as custodian. The offering period closed early after reaching full subscription, reflecting demand for Shariah compliant investment products. Avrist Asset Management said the launch also marks its first use of Bank Muamalat’s Shariah custodian services.
