BANGLADESH: Bangladesh Bank has accepted a total of BDT16 billion (US$143.67 million) in bids from three banks for its 14-day and 28-day Islamic Banks Liquidity Facilities (IBLFs), which were offered on the 4th April 2024, a statement read. The expected profit rate for both facilities was 4.5%.
The central bank also accepted BDT3 billion (US$26.94 million) in a bid from one bank for a 28-day IBLF with an expected profit rate of 4%, which was offered on the 8th April 2024, said a separate statement.
