PHILIPPINES: The Bangsamoro government plans to acquire Development Bank of the Philippines’s shares of Amanah Islamic Investment Bank of the Philippines (AAIIBP) to promote financial inclusion and accelerate socio-economic development in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
The proposed transfer of shares was approved by the Intergovernmental Fiscal Policy Board on the 3rd September 2024.
