MALAYSIA: Bursa Carbon Exchange (BCX), a Shariah compliant carbon exchange wholly owned by Bursa Malaysia, has signed a memorandum of collaboration (MoC) with the Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB) to jointly explore the development of the Sarawak Carbon Registry.
The two-year collaboration will focus on reviewing the objectives of the registry, organizing capacity-building programs, exploring a high-level design framework and developing a structured implementation plan.
