BRUNEI: The Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) has on the 29th February 2024 priced the 162nd issuance of its BDCB Islamic Bills (BDCB I-Bills) worth BN$15 million (US$11.15 million) with a profit rate of 3.45% and a maturity date of the 14th March 2024, a press release confirmed.
With this issuance, the BDCB has thus far issued BN$4.08 billion (US$3.03 billion)-worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on the 22nd October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at the 22nd February 2024 stood at BN$57 million (US$42.37 million).
