MALAYSIA: Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) has, between the 5th March and the 12th March 2024, issued five Money Market Tender Murabahah Overnight Borrowing Acceptance Islamic facilities worth a total of RM95.75 billion (US$20.43 billion) and six Qard papers worth RM2.1 billion (US$448.13 million) in total, according to separate tender results.
Separately, BNM has on the 6th March 2024 issued a Bank Negara Interbank Bill – Islamic (BNIBI) facility worth RM2.5 billion (US$528.04 million) and on the 11th March 2024 issued another BNIBI facility also worth RM2.5 billion.
