MALAYSIA: Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) has, between the 12th March and the 19th March 2024, issued five Money Market Tender Murabahah Overnight Borrowing Acceptance Islamic facilities worth a total of RM88.57 billion (US$18.77 billion) and three Qard papers worth RM900 million (US$190.72 million) in total, according to separate tender results.
Separately, BNM has on the 15th March 2024 issued a Bank Negara Interbank Bill Islamic (BNIBI) facility worth RM600 million (US$127.94 million) which received nine bids and on the 19th March 2024 issued another BNIBI facility worth RM2.5 billion (US$529.79 million) which received 39 bids.
