INDONESIA: Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) has launched the Islamic Endowment Fund, an initiative to enhance the role of cash Waqf in developing the country’s Islamic financial ecosystem. The program was inaugurated with the signing of cooperation agreements with three partners. The bank said that the fund will be managed professionally to support sectors like education, healthcare and SMEs.
