INDONESIA: Bank Syariah Indonesia and the Central Management of the Gadjah Mada University Alumni Family have jointly launched a Waqf deposit initiative with a target of collecting IDR10 billion (US$599,019.97).
Funds generated from the initiative will be allocated for the renovation of the university alumni group’s shelter house in Jakarta, which will serve as a center for social activities and temporary housing for alumni and students in need.
