MALAYSIA: Bursa Malaysia Securities has issued a consultation paper seeking public feedback on proposed amendments to the MAIN Market Listing Requirements and BMS Directives to facilitate the listing and trading of digital currency ETFs. The review follows the Securities Commission Malaysia’s revision of the Guidelines on Exchange‑Traded Funds on the 2nd March 2026, which permits digital currency ETFs under an enhanced regulatory framework.
The amendments focus on enhanced disclosure of material information in announcements and annual reports, and key risk statements to be acknowledged by investors. Feedback is invited by the 10th April 2026.
