IRAN: The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has released a draft of the ‘Rules for the Establishment, Activity, Dissolution and Supervision of Cryptocurrency Brokers’ and invited feedback from experts and industry stakeholders by the end of September. The draft aims to enhance transparency, regulate cryptocurrency-related activities and align with the bank’s role as custodian of the money and forex markets under its policy-making framework for cryptocurrencies.
