IRAN: Dr Mohammad-Reza Farzin, the governor of the Central Bank of Iran, has appointed Dr Koroush Parvizian as the new head of the Monetary and Banking Research Institute.
Dr Koroush previously served as a senior advisor to the central bank governor and was the CEO of Parsian Bank. He was also a faculty member at Shahid Beheshti University.
