SRI LANKA: The Colombo Stock Exchange aims to introduce Sukuk products by the end of May this year, said Chairman Dilshan Wirasekara. These will be in the local currency, reported The Daily Mirror. In-principle approval for Islamic capital market products was granted by Sri Lanka’s Securities Exchange Commission in June 2021.
