EGYPT: Contact Financial Holding plans to complete its fourth Sukuk issuance worth EGP2 billion (US$64.67 million) this month as a part of its Shariah compliant multi-issuance program, reported Daily News Egypt. The issuance proceeds will be used to finance the company’s expansion in consumer finance and to provide new financing for customers.
Contact had issued a EGP2 billion Sukuk facility in 2022.
