ETHIOPIA: The Ethiopian Securities Exchange (ESX) has signed an MoU with Financial Sector Deepening (FSD) Africa and FSD Ethiopia to enhance the development of Ethiopia’s capital markets, following its launch in January 2025. This collaboration will support the preparation of at least 50 company listings in the next five years, improve investor education, introduce new financial products including a platform for the listing and trading of government and corporate Sukuk as well as advance the exchange’s daily operations.
