Fugitive Investree chief Adrian Gunadi captured

INDONESIA: Former Investree chief executive Adrian Asharyanto Gunadi – who has been a fugitive facing charges of illegally raising around IDR2.7 trillion (US$161.49 million) from the public between 2022 and 2024 – has been captured. Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK) said Adrian was repatriated from Qatar and will face charges that he diverted the money, partly for personal use, from the now-defunct P2P lender he co-founded – which also ran Islamic services. Holding a Qatar PR status, Adrian held a senior role at JTA Investree Doha Consultancy.
