MALAYSIA: Funding Societies Malaysia, an SME digital finance platform, formalized a partnership with the Centre for Entrepreneur Development and Research (CEDAR), the training and capacity-building arm of SME Bank Malaysia. Under the agreement, both entities will mobilize up to RM50 million (US$11.77 million) in customized financing, including Shariah compliant solutions, to support credit access for Malaysian SMEs within CEDAR’s business community.
The offerings, available through CEDAR’s digital platforms, cater to eligible entrepreneurs, with a focus on vendors supporting government entities, government-linked companies and multinational corporations.
