MALAYSIA: Halogen Capital, a digital asset fund manager in Malaysia, announced the close of its RM13.3 million (US$3.25 million) funding round, led by Kenanga Investment Bank alongside VC firm 500 Global. Kenanga also now holds 14.9% stake – the largest institutional shareholding – in Halogen.
The funding will support Halogen in advancing its real-world asset tokenization initiatives, which include onshore unit trust funds, bonds and Sukuk, private credit and real estate.
