KENYA: Kenya’s Hustler Fund, a digital financial inclusion initiative that provides instant loans to citizens, will be recalibrated to become Shariah compliant, President William Ruto said during an Iftar dinner he hosted.
The program, which was launched by the president in 2022, is benefiting more than seven million Kenyans so far, President William said.
