INDONESIA: There are 639 Shariah compliant stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) as of the 9th September 2024, making up 68% of the bourse’s total listings. Shariah shares make up 58% of the IDX daily average total transaction value, said IDX Corporate Secretary Kautsar Primadi Nurahmad, adding that other Shariah compliant securities include 251 mutual funds, two ETFs, and Sukuk issued by 240 corporates and 93 by the government.
