INDONESIA: Indonesia’s total Islamic financial assets have reached IDR2.76 quadrillion (US$643.82 trillion) as of June 2024, demonstrating a 12.48% growth year-on-year as noted in Indonesia’s National Committee for Shariah Economy and Finance or Komite Nasional Ekonomi dan Keuangan Syariah (KNEKS) plenary meeting.
The Shariah finance market share, excluding Shariah compliant stocks, now stands at 11.41%.
