AUSTRALIA: Aiming to advance Islamic banking, finance and investment within this southern continent, several domestic industry leaders launched the Islamic Finance and Investments Association (IFIA). The IFIA founding members are Salaam, Islamic Co-operative Finance Australia, Ijarah Finance, Benchmark Capital, Islamic Money Australia and Awqaf Australia.
