Founded in 1990 and one of the oldest brokerage houses in the sector, Ata Yatirim became a member of Borsa Istanbul (then known as the Istanbul Stock Exchange) on July 4, 1991. Since its establishment, it has maintained its reliable and respected place in the sector and has remained loyal to the values of the Ata Group, of which it is a part. It set out with the mission of contributing to the development of Turkish Capital Markets and has made significant contributions to the sector since its establishment.

This initiative of Ata Yatirim, which developed the stock market software ATP in 1995, resulted in the birth of a new company within two years, and Tradesoft A.S. joined the Ata Group family in 1997. The GTP software, which was developed within Ata Yatirim and enables brokerage and portfolio management company transactions in the capital markets to be carried out quickly and effectively at high standards, is currently used by 16 brokerage firms, 11 portfolio management companies, 3 banks, 2 investment partnerships, and 2 pension companies in Turkey.

In 1997, when the internet was still in its infancy in Turkiye, it established the first Virtual Branch and broke new ground in the sector, as it did in many other areas. Among these firsts, technological products such as the first Call Center and IVR application in the sector, the first CRM usage can be counted, and it was also the brokerage firm that implemented the first MT program.

Ata Yatirim is one of the first brokerage firms to receive the ISO 9000 Quality Assurance Certificate, as well as the first brokerage firm to receive the TUSIAD KALDER National Quality Award in 2000.

In 2000, Ata Yatirim acquired Meridyen Securities and incorporated it into the Ata Group, changing the company name to Ata Online. In 2016, by combining Ata Online, which has taken its technological structure to the highest level with its digital service model, and Ata Yatirim, which has led the capital markets and asset management sector with its result-oriented high-yield investment ideas, a globally competitive formation was created. Today, Ata Online, as Ata Yatirim s digital platform, combines market monitoring and buy/sell transactions with the latest financial technology on desktop and mobile applications and offers them to investors.
