AYS Ventures Berhad (5021) is a public company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia since 9 May 2012. AYS Ventures is an investment holding company, its subsidiaries are principally involved in the distribution of steel products & building materials, manufacturing of purlins, truss decks and structural steel components, providing warehousing and storage services in Port Klang Free Trade Zone as well as providing services on total project management services and 3D modelling of construction project for BIM purpose.
AYS was founded by Mr. Oh Chiew Ho in 1982 and commenced its business in 1983 as a trader, stockist and distributor of various steel and construction materials, particularly structural steel sections in a modest 2,000 sq.ft. hardware shop. Over the years, AYS evolved beyond its origins in hardware trading, expanded its operations into manufacturing of wire products, purlins and panels and components for sectional tanks. From an ordinary hardware trading house, AYS has evolved to become one of Malaysia’s major steel and building materials distribution and stockists specializing in structural steel products for diversified industries and sectors like construction, engineering, oil & gas, marine, industrial and etc.
