Panin Bank is one of the major commercial banks in Indonesia. It was established in 1971 and listed its shares on the Jakarta Stock Exchange in 1982 as the first Go Public bank. With a strong capital structure and high Capital Adequacy Ratio, Panin Bank is grateful that it did not have to be recapitalized by the Government after the economic crisis (1998).

Panin Bank’s shareholders are ANZ Banking Group of Australia (30%), Panin Life (45%) and public domestic & international.

As of December 2007, Panin Bank was recorded as the 7th largest bank in Indonesia in terms of total assets of Rp 53.5 trillion, while in terms of capital it was recorded as the 5th largest bank, namely Rp 7.9 trillion and CAR 21.6%.

Panin Bank has a business network of almost 350 offices in various major cities in Indonesia and more than 16,000 ALTO ATMs and BERSAMA ATM networks, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking and also Phone Banking and Call Center and Debit Card in collaboration with MasterCard, Cirrus and Maestro which can be accessed internationally.
