EC World REIT is a Singapore real estate investment trust (REIT) established with the investment strategy of investing principally, directly or indirectly, in a diversified portfolio of income producing real estate which is used primarily for ecommerce, supply chain management and logistics purposes, as well as real estate related assets, with an initial geographical focus on the Peoples Republic of China (the PRC).

Asset Divestment.
The REIT is working with financial advisors and property consultants to market selected assets for sale, aiming to repay offshore facilities by 31 May 2025.

Lease Restructuring.
Efforts are underway to realign lease structures, particularly for properties with lower occupancy rates, to improve rental income stability.

Governance and Oversight.
An Extraordinary General Meeting was held in December 2024 to discuss strategic directions and governance matters, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

Sustainability Efforts.
In 2024, the REIT completed several environmental initiatives, including the installation of solar panels across its properties.
