Over the years, the company has expanded its operations across six core business divisions: plantation, property, credit financing, automotive, trading, and building materials.

Key Milestones in Hap Seng History

1976:

Incorporated as Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad.

1978:

Listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (now Bursa Malaysia).

2004:

Acquired MUI Plaza in Kuala Lumpur, later renamed Menara Hap Seng.

2007:

Listed Hap Seng Plantations Holdings Berhad on Bursa Malaysia.

2016:

Acquired Malaysian Mosaics Sdn Bhd, a leading tile manufacturer under the MML brand, for RM380 million.

2020:

Completed Menara Hap Seng 3, linking it with Menara Hap Seng 1 and 2 to form Plaza Hap Seng in Kuala Lumpur Golden Triangle.

2022:

Opened the Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu, a 22 storey (5 star) hotel designed by renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma.
