Twenty years plus of experience in the investment and finance industry on the buy side and the sell side – from the forex industry, equity capital markets, structured finance, private equity and investment banking.

During Akram time within private equity and investment banking, he observed how entrepreneurs were underserviced in funding their businesses.

Akram has instructed countless deals in millions of dollars worth of deal value across the board in industries and verticals. With this experience under his belt, he felt the duty to share with entrepreneurs quality advice at cost-effective prices.

He then went on and founded a boutique advisory firm to solve this problem but although this practice was successful, it was still not efficient and clearly not scalable. This is when the idea was born to codify domain knowledge, leverage it with workflow automation and power it with rolodex network to help founders get funded at scale.

This was the genesis of InstaVal.
