PNB structures investment decisions across three tiers:
Strategic (long term);
Sets optimal capital mix across public equity, fixed income, real estate, private markets, and cash.

Dynamic (medium term);
Transitions portfolios toward SAA targets.

Tactical (short term);
Capitalizes on immediate market opportunities.

Public Equity Investments:
Largest allocation:
58% domestic and 13% global public equities .
Active investor in major Malaysian listed companies (e.g., Maybank, Sime Darby, SP Setia).
Increasing participation in global equities and IPOs since 2017, using both internal teams and a London office for ACWI exposure.

Fixed Income and Cash Across Geographies.
Approximately 7% invested in domestic & international bonds, government or corporate.
Maintains cash and money market cushions (9%) to manage liquidity and capture yield shifts.
