UK: Bahrain-based investment firm Blacksand acquired Signature London, The J Marylebone Hotel for an undisclosed sum – aided by UK law firm Foot Anstey’s Islamic Finance team. Located near The Sherlock Holmes Museum and Madame Tussauds in the Marylebone district of London, the 93-room hotel is the latest investment in Blacksand’s deal portfolio valued at about GBP900 million (US$1.18 billion) in total.
