Islamic commodities funds shine in Americas during Q3 2025

GLOBAL: Shariah compliant commodities funds, which are largely invested in gold and precious metals, were among the top Islamic asset class performers within the Americas region for Q3 2025. Total AuM for these funds increased to US$152.18 billion in the quarter, up from US$117.95 billion in Q2 2025 – largely due to a continued rise in global pricing for gold.

Another stellar performer was the equities class with a meaningful climb in total AuM from US$11.73 billion to US$13.43 billion, signaling Shariah investors’ interest in growth-oriented strategies. Other sectors recorded steady but smaller improvements. Fixed income funds total AuM increased from US$602.52 million to US$699.93 million, mixed assets from US$7.68 million to US$9.8 million, money market funds from US$340.71 million to US$348.22 million and real estate from US$210.85 million to US$228.71 million over the quarter.
