MALAYSIA: Kenanga Investors launched the Islamic Global Responsible Strategies Fund – which seeks to provide capital growth by investing in Chicago Global Responsible Strategies (CGRS) – for exposure in global Shariah compliant equities. CGRS leverages on big data to predict future returns – which includes using artificial intelligence to identify financial data, market trends, social sentiment and alternative data sources. Benchmarked against the MSCI ACWI Islamic Index, this Islamic fund is available in dual currency classes with minimum initial investment amounts of RM5,000 (US$1,130) and US$1,000 respectively.
