MALAYSIA: Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) Chairman Zafrul Aziz recently highlighted the opportunity for Malaysia to attract capital flow and investors through its Islamic finance ecosystem with the current turmoil in West Asia. Zafrul noted Malaysia’s advantages in this ecosystem including its Halal landscape, Islamic finance, political stability, ASEAN positioning and participation in the global trade networks as being a trusted trading partner.
