MALAYSIA: Malaysia’s Islamic fund management segment continues to grow, Sharifatul Hanizah Ali, the executive director of Islamic capital market at the Securities Commission Malaysia, said adding that it recorded RM261.25 billion (US$61.88 billion) in AuM as of July 2025, accounting for 24% of the total RM1.1 trillion (US$260.55 billion) AuM.
As at end-2024, 40% of Malaysia’s SRI funds were Islamic, with a total net asset value of RM14.44 billion (US$3.42 billion) exceeding RM15 billion (US$3.55 billion) as at end-August 2025.
