MALAYSIA: MBSB Group has appointed Ashraf Gomma Ali as its chief Shariah and sustainability officer effective the 1st August 2024, The Edge reported. Prior to the new role, he served as an advisor to the World Bank Group – IFC on Islamic banking matters.
