GLOBAL: MECCACOIN, a cryptocurrency token that aims to provide Shariah compliant digital currency options, announced that it has launched its platform on the Solana blockchain after audits from blockchain security and consultancy firms CertiK and Coinsult.
The company said its system integrates features such as automated Zakat contributions, and that it plans to develop a digital wallet and expand its services to include Halal e-commerce integrations and interest-free international money transfers.
