INDONESIA: Influential Muslim NGO Muhammadiyah announced shifting some of its funds out of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) to minimize concentrated risks. Muhammadiyah’s Central Leadership Chairman Anwar Abbas said this rationalizing and consolidating of its financial strategies are aimed at fostering healthy competition among domestic Islamic banks.
