MALAYSIA: Abdul Farid Alias is to be the new Bursa Malaysia chairman, effective the 1st May 2025. A former group president and CEO at Maybank Group Malaysia from 2013 to 2022, Farid replaces current Chairman Abdul Wahid, who will be retiring on the 30th April 2025 upon completion of his five-year tenure.
