INDONESIA: The Financial Services Authority of Indonesia, or Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), has launched a roadmap for the development and strengthening of financial technology innovation, digital financial assets and crypto assets between 2024 and 2028, with the theme ‘Welcoming the Future of Digital Finance: Laying the Foundation for Effective and Balanced Supervision’.
The roadmap’s strategic objective is to support the growth of a strong, balanced, inclusive and sustainable fintech sector. It focuses on four pillars: regulation and development, supervision and law enforcement, licensing and information and innovation.
