INDONESIA: The Financial Services Authority of Indonesia, or Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), has launched licensing services for prospective Islamic rural banks through its Integrated Licensing and Registration Information System, or Sistem Informasi Perizinan dan Registrasi Terintegrasi (SPRINT), app.
SPRINT will also serve the management of licensing process for insurance companies, guarantee companies, pension funds, financing companies, venture capital firms, pawnshops and P2P fintech lending startups which will go live in Q4 2024.
