Pelaburan Hartanah gets new managing director

MALAYSIA: Pelaburan Hartanah, Malaysia’s largest Islamic property investment and management group, promoted Mazuki Abdullah @ Muhammad as its new group managing director, effective the 1^st January 2026. Mazuki is currently co-head of the real estate division at Permodalan Nasional, where he oversees a diversified domestic real estate portfolio with a total asset value exceeding RM12 billion (US$2.96 billion) - which includes Malaysia’s tallest tower, Merdeka 118. He replaces group managing director and CEO Mohamad Damshal Awang Damit, who retires upon the completion of his contract on the 31^st December 2025, after leading the company since the 1^st January 2023.
