PALESTINE: The Palestine Monetary Authority (PMA) has launched an instant transfer and payment system, IBURAQ, for banks and digital wallets on the 23rd July 2024.
The launch aligns with the PMA’s strategy for digital transformation given the discontinuation of bank services in the Gaza strip after the destruction of infrastructure and interruption of electricity and communications in the area.
