UK: Another two conventional property developers have obtained Shariah financing from the Bank of London and The Middle East. Salboy’s inaugural GBP9.8 million (US$13.43 million) five-year refinancing facility is secured against 59 newly completed family homes at The Meadows development in Quadring, Lincolnshire. SAV Development obtained its second facility of GBP18 million (US$24.67 million) for new purpose-built student accommodation in Edinburgh.
