BANGLADESH: Professor Dr Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir, the adviser to the Bangladeshi prime minister on economic affairs and planning, proposed the establishment of an Islamic stock exchange in the country, designed to attract capital from Malaysia, Indonesia and the Gulf region and to create an investment gateway for non-resident Bangladeshis, The Financial Express reported.
