SAUDI ARABIA: In reference to a circular from the Saudi Insurance Authority instructing companies to exhaust all local market options before reinsurance placements are made with a foreign reinsurer, Saudi Reinsurance Company and Tawuniya have separately disclosed that the new mechanism would result in an increase in their respective revenues, and would have an impact on their financial results starting from Q1 2025.
