MALAYSIA: The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has introduced new conduct obligations under its updated ‘Guidelines on the Offer of Shares by Unlisted Public Companies,’ effective the 28th March 2025. The guidelines impose obligations on all parties involved in the offering including the corporate finance adviser, board of directors, agents who market and promote the shares as well as Shariah advisers for Shariah compliant share offerings.
