MALAYSIA: The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) released its Regulatory Sandbox Guidelines and invites applications from the 15th April 2025 until the 31st May 2025 – with products and solutions focusing on financial inclusiveness, Islamic finance, or retirement solutions being strongly encouraged. The proposals must introduce a capital market product or service not currently available in Malaysia and does not fully fit any of the SC’s existing frameworks.
